HE IS RISEN! Happy Easter to all of you and your fami-
lies! I want to thank you all for your Easter prayers, and
well wishes! My family and I are so very blessed to be a
part of this parish community! We had such a powerful
and uplifting Holy Week, and it is truly my favorite time
of the year! Our world is filled with craziness, and now
more than ever we need to believe in the Easter Prom-
ise! The promise of our resurrected Lord, Jesus Christ!
We must stand in courage with our faith in God! We
must let people know by our love that our God is real,
and wants us with Him for eternity! How is this Easter
Season going to be different for you? How can you
make the positive changes you need to strengthen your
relationship with Christ?

I love our Easter Sunday Gospel reading! I wonder what
it felt like for Mary Magdalene when she came to the
tomb to see it open, and to see the burial clothes laying
around. What did she feel in that exact moment? Or
how did Peter feel to see that empty tomb? These are
great meditative questions to ponder durning the first
week of Easter, because of that moment, the followers
of Jesus lives took a huge turn! Their ministry was about
to be ramped up because of the resurrected Christ!
They went out and changed the world forever, because
of the mission of Jesus Christ!

My brothers and sisters, Christianity is under attack in
our society, and we must stand with courage! We must
stand with the ultimate knowledge that God is very
much real, and that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
How will you use the knowledge of Christ that you have
to make lives around you better? Are you ready to live
for Him? “Have courage, your faith has saved you!”
We are so excited to announce that Father Gary
George will be returning to our parish for a three day
mission! Please mark your calendars for May 22nd,
23rd, & 24th! (Times to be determined.) Father Gary is
such a dynamic speaker and is truly a man of God! His
courage of the faith is exactly what we need during
these times, and I have no doubt Father Gary will be on
fire with the Holy Spirit!!

Once again I pray each and everyone of you has a
beautiful Easter Season! I pray that you all feel the love
and power of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! May
this Easter Season bring each of you peace
