“O Come let us adore Him, O come let us
adore Him!” While the birth of our Savior
happened over 2,000 years ago it still holds so much
promise for each of us!

Merry Christmas Saint Paul Family! We have
arrived to this most beautiful day and the
Christmas promise is upon us! Christmas Day will
forever capture my heart, and fill me with so many
wonderful memories! First as a young boy growing
up in Austintown, Ohio, and waking my parents up
way to early! I also remember those Christmas Eve
Masses. I remember the Church being filled, and
how beautiful all the lights looked. I will always re-
member how amazing the choir sounded, and how
everyone seemed so happy. I remember my dad
carrying me to the car one night on Christmas Eve
and I was looking for the Christmas Star, and won-
dering if it would show me the way to baby Jesus. I
am so blessed to have so many memories of a won-
derful time!

Now as a parent and Deacon, Christmas con-
tinues to be so very special, and I am so very
excited to be able to teach our girls the importance
of our Lord’s Birthday! That amazing day when “the
Word became Flesh,” and the angels sang that
beautiful proclamation to the shepherds keeping
watch! The image of our Blessed Mother holding her
new born Son, and that Holy “Silent Night!”
M y Christmas prayer this year is for our Saint
Paul parish, because we have some exciting
times ahead of us for 2023! We have so much mo-
mentum, and this parish is going to be a beacon of
hope for all those searching and needing more in
their lives! We are going to be a dwelling place for
people to find the Holy Spirit! This place, this amaz-
ing community, is ready to let the Light of Christ
shine!!!

I want to take a moment to tell all of you how
grateful I am to be the Deacon at Saint Paul the
Apostle parish. It is one of the great blessings of my
life. I have gotten to know so many of you over the
past couple of years, and you all inspire me in
Christ’s Word! On behalf of Alaina, Maria, Sophia,
Ella and myself we want to wish you all a very Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

May the peace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ, be
with you all; Now and Forever! Merry Christmas!
