This weekend we celebrate the Third Sunday of Easter. Our Gospel tells Peter and us to feed the lambs, tend to my sheep, and feed my sheep. Too often, we might look at the world in which we live and have doubts. We see war and violence, poverty and despair. And with that can come the doubt of darkness. Yet, we are all called, especially in this Easter season, to be light from one an-other. Our generous participation in the Annual Diocesan Appeal-One in Hope, One in Mission, is working to do just that – bringing light to so many in need. Without a doubt, members of this parish, and all our parishes are joining together to decrease poverty and in-crease the mission of the Church. Much like just two weeks ago, with every step, the light of faith and hope has only increased in our midst. Thank you to everyone here at St. Paul’s for your generous response of $14,241.00 to our parish goal of $40,000.00/35.60%. If you have not responded, please take some time this week and pray about your ability to make a gift that will in-crease the light of Christ in our communities. Thank you and may the joy of the Risen Christ remain with us al-ways.With the love of our Risen Lord, ~~Fr. Steve.
