It has been a blessing and privilege for me to have written this column for St. Paul the Apostle community since the last months of 2018. Over these few years, you have shared with me how they have encouraged you in your walk of faith in the Lord. The conversations texts, emails, and notes have affirmed and encouraged me in sharing what I discerned God wanted written. I was so humbled! Much prayer went into each column that was published in the bulletin! Many theses kept re-occurring over time…..Random Acts of Kindness, Gratitude, Prayer, the Beatitudes, Pope Francis, Scripture, Faithfulness and love of God, Thankfulness, the Two Great Commandments, and others. God was teaching me as well as you! Hopefully we all became stronger disciples of Jesus as time went on. Hopefully we all furthered the mission of our parish and spread the love of Christ to others as well.

Due to personal reasons, David and I are no longer on parish council and parish council has decided that I am not longer needed to write for the column for our bulletin. They would like a council member to write a column. Barb Novad has volunteered to write for the bulletin. Barb is a published writer, a strong Christian woman, and a new member of council — and my friend. I am sure you will be inspired by what she shares with you in the bulletins to come.

Thank you for allowing me to share my spirituality and my faith and love of our God: Creator, Redeemer, and Guiding Spirit! You will always be in my prayers and heart! Keep sharing those random acts of kindness with one another — they bring blessings! Thank you Jesus! Gratefully, Alvera Bell

Dear Parish Family, I want to thank Alvera for her dedication and devotion to God and our parish family. May God continue to bless Alvera in future endeavors. Lastly, I need to clarify that Parish Council decided that a current council member should write a column every third bulletin. There are three of us who write for this bulletin, Deacon Bill, a council member, and myself. Alvera and Dave for personal reasons withdrew from Parish Council. My love and prayers, Fr. Steve
