Happy Easter Saint Paul family!!! He is Risen, He has truly Risen!!! What a powerful Holy Week we experienced as a parish family, and how blessed are we to have been reunited this year! I first want to thank everyone for the beautiful Easter cards, gifts, and Easter greetings! I am truly blessed to be a very small part of this amazing Parish Communi-ty! You all are so veryspecial to me and my family, and we absolutely love Saint Paul’s!

The Easter Vigil for me, like so many of you, is so very special to me! From the Easter fire, (I didn’t let the fire get out of hand much to the relief of Father Steve), the amazing music, the incredible worship, the Eucharist celebration, and so many more parts of the most powerful Mass of the year that I can barely contain my child like excitement! I pray that each of you had an amazing experience at some point over the Holy Week! Again, what a blessing it has been to be back together again for our Easter celebrations! We are truly blessed!

This is Divine Mercy Sunday, and the Gospel reading for this weekend is a powerful one! We see the apostles encounter the Risen Christ, and He is about to once again prepare them for the mission at hand. However, we also see Thomas come front and center because of his doubt. He needed to see Jesus for himself since he missed the first encounter that the Apostles had with our Risen Lord. We have all been doubting Thomas’ at points in our lives, and the Easter Season is the perfect time of the year to allow our doubts to leave our hearts, and open up space to allow the Holy Spirit to dwell within us!Let us journey together this Easter Season! Let us allow the Holy Spirit to take over our hearts and minds, so that we can truly live the life that God wants for each and every single one of us!!! Happy Easter everyone! And may the Holy Spirit be with you all!!!
