Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

The Bishops within the Catholic Conference of Ohio, after serious consideration of the grave health risk involved in public gatherings and in order to curb the spread of the Coronavirus, have decided, effective immediately, to suspend temporarily all publicly celebrated Masses/Liturgies, through the celebrations of Holy Week including Easter.  The Bishops dispense the Catholic faithful from the obligation of attending Sunday Mass from now and including Easter Sunday Mass.  This decision is not taken lightly, and as your Bishops, causes us great sadness.  I am sharing this part of the Bishop’s letter with you to relieve any grief and confusion that this decision may cause.  Let us continue to pray that God continues to give us strength, courage, and healing in the weeks and months ahead.  Please, if at all possible, continue to support St. Paul’s Church with your offertory collection which can be mailed or dropped off at the rectory.  Also, you may utilize online donations as an option at https://connectnowgiving.parishsoft.com/stpaulnm.
