• Attend Stations of the Cross
  • Attend Adoration
  • Attend daily Mass
  • Start a “collection jar” for the poor and put all loose change in it
  • Work the Table of Plenty
  • Create a prayer space at home and use it daily
  • Say the rosary as a family once a week (start with one decade)
  • Read Scripture daily (start with the Gospels)
  • Attend Reconciliation as a family
  • Eat only broth, beans, and unleavened bread as a meal and offer prayers for others
  • Start a prayer list and pray for those family/friends each day at meal time
  • Smile to everyone you encounter for one whole day
  • Watch “The Passion”
  • Post one funny “clean” joke on FB
  • Rub a loved one’s back
  • Do someone else’s weekly chore once
  • Write a love letter
  • Share a favorite Scripture with your family
  • Send a note of appreciation to someone who has helped you in the past (friend/teacher/co-worker/family)
  • Make a list of appreciation
  • Be nice to someone you dislike
  • Bring in your neighbor’s trash cans
  • Take 3 minute showers once a week: time yourself
  • Join a new ministry at church
  • Thank your mail carrier
  • Give three hand-written affirmations one day…once a week
  • If children are in school, write a note and place in lunch box randomly
  • Tip the waitress 30% or 40%
  • Share Saint stories
  • Attend ALL Holy Week Masses
  • Tweet or Facebook a message of a genuine compliment to three people right now
  • When everyone around you is gossiping about someone, be the one to butt in with something nice
  • Put your phone away
  • Don’t interrupt when someone else is speaking (surprisingly few people master this)
  • Forgive someone, and never bring up the issue again
  • Give someone a hug
  • Talk to someone at work whom you haven’t talked to before
  • Text someone just to say “good morning” or “good night”
  • Say “I love you” at least three times each day
  • Sleep in a sleeping bag on the floor for a few days as you offer prayers to other
